Another Inari

The Inari dress by Named has got to be one of the best designed simple dresses- absolutely love it. (Pattern bought from Indie Sew). After a successful attempt last summer with my aztec print version I thought I'd do a bit of stash busting and use up a piece of black ponte de roma that had been hanging around a while.

Same pattern size as the last one (38) however this time I remembered to do the cuffs as turn ups. I lengthened the pattern just slightly to potentially make it a bit more practical and less flashy. That's about all though! Super fast again - whizzed up on the overlocker in about 30 mins. Wondertaped those hems to keep them stable and prevent waving (my favourite new trick).

I plan on wearing this with some chunky sandals when it gets a bit warmer. I've since made a third version thats a long top in faux leather ponte! Gotta love an Inari....

Feel free to comment and come and say hello on InstagramFacebookTwitterPinterest and Bloglovin too :-) xx

  1. Looks lovely! I'm really temped to buy this pattern, all versions I've seen look great. Thanks about the wondertape tip, Prym is a lot easier to get hold of here than some of the US versions.
